The Town Pool will be closed Tuesday – Friday, August 26-29,
and will reopen for Labor Day Weekend, 11 am – 7 pm

The facility is the perfect spot for warm weather relaxation and enjoyment. Food and drink are allowed, but please do not bring glass into the facility. Picnic tables and umbrellas are available on our new patio.
The bath house provides women’s, men’s, and unisex changing areas and restrooms.
SEASONAL POOL MEMBERSHIPS are available at an introductory rate online or at the Southbury Parks & Recreation Office. These include:
* Individual Adult memberships for ages 16-54
* Senior memberships for adults ages 55+
* Family memberships
Family memberships include 2 adults ages 16+. Once you have selected your family membership, you will need to select all household members who will be part of your membership. Please ensure all members of your household are entered into the MyRec system in order to be added to your family pool membership.
Every pool member will receive a Southbury Town Pool membership card which must be scanned upon entry to the facility. Each individual member, and each member listed in a family pool membership, will receive a unique pool membership card.
All memberships purchased after June 1 will be processed within 24 hours of purchase and will then be mailed to the household member address listed at the time of registration. Memberships purchased on the weekend will be processed on the following Monday.
Please hold onto membership cards at the end of the season. The card will be reloaded with any future memberships you purchase through Southbury Parks & Recreation.
The mid season 25% discount will apply to all memberships purchased after Monday August 4.
SINGLE DAY PASSES
Single day passes are available for purchase by both residents and non-residents; however, non-residents may only enter the pool as guests, accompanied by a Southbury resident. Proof of residency is required at time of purchase. Checks or Credit Cards are preferred.
Adult Resident Day Pass: $10
Child Resident Day Pass: $8
Adult Non-Resident Guest Pass: $14
Child Non-Resident Guest Pass: $10
Non-residents must be accompanied by a Southbury resident with valid proof of residency at time of entry. Non-residents who have purchased a season membership do not need to be accompanied by a resident.
A limited number of chairs will be available for patrons at the pool. Please feel free to bring your own chair.
A single lap lane will be available for those interested in swimming laps during the day.
Pool Rules:
- Children under 15 years of age must have adult supervision.
- All persons shall bathe with warm water and soap before entering the pool.
- Diving is ONLY allowed in the deep end, and diving blocks are only for swim team use.
- Equipment that obstructs the nose or airways is not permitted in the pool.
- Running, boisterous or rough play is prohibited.
- Aggressive splashing is prohibited.
- Toys and floatation devices are not allowed in the pool, with the exception of US Coast Guard approved life jackets and puddle jumpers.
- Bottles, glass and other hazardous objects are prohibited.
- Smoking, vaping, and chewing gum is prohibited.
- Long hair must be tied back or tucked into a cap.
- Only proper bathing attire is allowed in the pool.
- Any persons known or suspected of having communicable diseases, open cuts, skin disease, fever, or infection may not enter the water.
- Spitting or blowing the nose in the pool is prohibited.
- Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.
