Little Sprouts Gardeners: Ages 3+
Fox Den Learn & Play invites children to explore, create, and connect through hands-on outdoor experiences in the community garden at Settlers Park.
Rooted in play-based learning and nature exploration, Little Sprouts summer program includes gardening, sensory play, nature walks, storytelling, nature-inspired crafts, and simple science activities designed to spark curiosity and connection.
Led by an experienced early childhood educator, each session encourages children to learn through play while building confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world through shared outdoor experiences and community connection.
Depending on our plants, participants will be able to take home some of the fruits (and veggies!) of their labor.
Harvest dates are here! Harvest Days is an extension of Little Sprouts summer program that invites the whole family to celebrate the changing seasons through outdoor exploration and hands-on fun. Designed for all ages, these special sessions continue our work in the community garden while expanding our adventures to include guided nature trail walks, seasonal discoveries and crafts, games, and creative outdoor activities. Whether we’re harvesting garden goods, exploring the trails, or simply enjoying time together in nature, Harvest Days offers a fun and welcoming way for families to connect, learn, and grow as a community.
Program will be held at Settlers Park Community Garden, 280 Crook Horn Rd
Participants are encouraged to bring labeled refillable water bottles and to wear clothes that can get dirty!
