The Rochambeau Rebels are dedicated to providing an affordable competitive cheerleading program to area youth. Our program provides a balanced and sustainable approach to youth cheerleading recognizing the needs of the athletes and their families. We are committed to excellence, creativity, and integrity that goes beyond the cheer mat.

The Rochambeau Rebels season will run from August through March, offering a light weekly schedule that allows for consistency and planning. The Rebels will practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Southbury Parks and Recreation. Each practice will be 1.5 hours long. The younger squad will practice from 5:30pm- 7:00pm, and the older squad practice time will be 7:00pm-8:30pm. Age group split depends on registered participants. There will be no practices on weekends and no mandatory parent volunteer hours. The Rebels will not do regular sideline cheering for any sport. Competitive cheer skill building will be our only focus.

All registered athletes will need to buy their own cheerleading sneakers for competitions. Any cheer shoes can be used for practices. As we get closer to competitions, coaches will advise families which shoes to buy.
