Southbury welcomes Tennis Director Greg Sansonetti and his adult staff- back by popular demand! Based in Fairfield County, Greg brings over 26 years of tennis teaching experience. 

Junior Clinics offer a wide variety of teaching methods using USTA QuickStart tennis balls to develop forehand, backhand, volleys, and serves and incorporate those strokes into fun game situations. For more information, contact Greg at 203-414-9453 or visit www.fairfieldcountytennis.com.

NEW THIS YEAR: Summer Junior Tennis Camp
Junior Tennis Camp: Focus is on forehand, backhand, volley & serve. Fun game situations reinforce skills. Campers will have the option to participate in cross-training sports for 20 minutes per day.
Campers must bring a tennis racquet, nut-free snack, labeled water bottle, sunscreen, and wear appropriate tennis court shoes. 

Summer Camp will be held at Community Park

Winter classes will be held at Pomperaug Elementary School Gym

Participants should bring their own racquet to class.
Racquets are also available for sale through instructors.


  • PeeWee: Focus is on development of hand-eye coordination in fun game situations
  • Beginner/Advanced Beginner: Focus is on forehand, backhand, volley, and serves in game situations. Juniors continue to develop their strokes in game situations
  • Low Intermediate/Intermediate: Juniors can rally in game situations
  • Adult Beginner/Advanced Beginners: Focus is on forehands and backhands with dead ball drills to get the strokes down so players can transition to point play. Serves and volleys will also be practiced



Rain Dates will extend the session if instructors deem necessary. Please ensure the email you sign up with is checked regularly for weather cancellation information.
