TENNIS/PICKLEBALL COURT RESERVATION RULES AND POLICY
  
From April 17 – October 31st Courts are available to reserve Monday – Friday at Community House Park and Ballantine Park in the following time slots:

8:00 am – 9:30 am
9:30 am – 11:00 am
11:00 am – 12:30 pm
12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Courts are available from Dawn to Dusk on a first-come first-serve basis, unless a reservation has been secured

Players may reserve Courts by calling the Parks and Recreation Office at 203-262-0633 between 8:30 am – 4:00 pm - Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm – Friday

Players may reserve one time slot at One Court per day

Pickle Ball lines are on Court #3 at both parks

Court times are 1 ½ hour blocks

Anyone using the courts without a permit must yield to players with a permit

Permits will only be issued after a phone call with the main office confirming date and time availability.

Courts may be reserved up to 48 hours in advance. Members who purchase packages from the online store will receive their permits via email. Cash payments and non-members must pick up permits at the Parks & Recreation Department before playing. 

Permit Fee for Members is $2.00; non-members may reserve courts in-person ONLY and will be charged $3 for Southbury residents and $6 for non-residents. 

Residents who purchase a Court Membership will receive 5 free Court Reservations. Non-residents who purchase a Court Membership will receive 3 free Court Reservations.
 
Sponsored activities or programs of the Parks & Recreation Department and Town of Southbury take priority.

COURTS MAY NOT BE USED: for any for-profit endeavor without the permission of the Southbury Parks and Recreation office. If you or someone you know would like to run programming for Tennis or Pickleball: please contact the office to submit a proposal!

THERE WILL BE NO: "rain date" adjustments or refunds once a date is requested and a permit is issued. Purchased packages must be used by end of season

Court Membership: Tennis & Pickleball
Court Membership enables participants to reserve Tennis or Pickleball courts at Southbury's Ballantine Park or Community House Park. Residents will receive 5 free reservations with purchase of Membership. Non-residents will receive 3 free reservations with purchase of Membership. After free reservations are used: Reservations are available for purchase in the Online Store as a single, package of 5, or package of 10. Each Package is good for the designated amount of court reservations at Ballantine Park or Community House Park. Each reservation is good for an hour and a half on a single day. Dates and times are subject to availability, weekends excluded, call the main office to reserve a court: (203) 262-0633 Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance. There will be no "rain date" adjustments or refunds once a date is requested. Pre-paid reservations must be used by the end of the tennis season.
