Make your own customized wood sign to hang in your home or office, or give it away as a gift. No experience or special skill is needed for this class. Our instructors will lay out the stencils for you, you pick which colors you want, paint, and when your board is dry, pick off stencil pieces using our specialized tools. One board takes an average of one hour (give or take) to complete depending on how detailed in painting you decide to do. Each sign can be personalized to you (i.e. your name first and/or last, specific date, etc.) Please come dressed in clothes that can get paint on them- paint is non-washable. Steps to complete before the class upon registering: Pick which template you want by clicking here Then at checkout, fill in name of your desired design If you want something you don't see on the list, such as a specific holiday, theme, or "baby's first…" you can contact Lexi Polasek for help at: parkrec5@southbury-ct.gov.  Please note: Southbury Parks and Recreation will do our best to personalize your sign to what you are looking for. Depending on the requests you make, we may not be able to include all personalized messages. We will reach out to you before the class if changes need to be made. Each class allows for one participant to paint a second board (if you register for the add-on option). The add-on option is only for the person registered for the class and is not applicable for another person. In order to serve you better, SPR programs are subject to change.
