It incorporates yoga and Pilates fundamentals with athletic training and a focus on mobility and flexibility. Emotive music drives the experience as your breathe and sweat through this choreographed workout. Centergy is a great stand-alone workout for stretching and working on balance and strength, or exercisers might treat it as recovery from more physically demanding sports, such as running. All you need to bring is a Yoga mat and water.

Cheerleading Rochambeau Rebels: Grades K-8 - Half Year Competition Cheerleading
The Rochambeau Rebels are dedicated to providing an affordable competitive cheerleading program to area youth. This program provides a balanced and sustainable approach to youth cheerleading recognizing the needs of the athletes and their families. They are committed to excellence, creativity, and integrity that goes beyond the cheer mat. The Rochambeau Rebels season will run from August through March. The Rebels will practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Southbury Parks and Recreation. Each practice will be 1.5 hours long. The younger squad will practice from 5:30pm- 7:00pm, and the older squad practice time will be 7:00pm-8:30pm. Age group split depends on registered participants. There will be no practices on weekends and no mandatory parent volunteer hours. The Rebels will not do regular sideline cheering for any sport. Competitive cheer skill building will be the only focus.All registered athletes will need to buy their own cheerleading sneakers for competitions. Any cheer shoes can be used for practices. Parks & Rec Clubhouse Activities - Dungeons & Dragons The Parks & Rec Clubhouse provides a space to meet and make new friends through specialized activities for various ages. Participate in different & unique activities while our staff helps guide you through your adventures. And the best part is that we clean up the mess!Our activities range from seasonal activities, science/learning activities, sensory learning and other messy crafts & activities!Dungeons and Dragons Multi-Generational Adventures: Join Parks and Recreation Clubhouse for our Dungeons and Dragons Adventures!We will provide the space - you provide the adventure! Southbury Parks and Recreation will provide game supplies, tables, and chairs. Groups are responsible for running their own games. If you are hoping to play with more participants, please invite your friends to sign up and join us! Minors must be accompanied by an adult, staff will check you in but will not run programming. Think of this program as a play date where no one has to clean their house before the fun (or clean up after it!).Once you register, we will reach out with a link to a Discord Server that will put you in direct communication with the other adventurers. CT Sports Network Grades: K-5 - Multi Sports Game-a-thon
CT Sports Network offers a variety of sports programs for players to participate in. Sports Network instructors have the knowledge and skills to teach the right techniques and execution, as well as the rules of the game and the most effective strategies to play at your best. So no matter if your kid is starting right now or already has some experience, coaches will always meet them where needed. Join CT Sports Network this Winter for the Multi Sports Game-A-Thon. These sports could include soccer, Wiffle ball, floor hockey, golf, dodge ball etc. Coaches will provide a short sport introduction and coaching practice before getting down to play in small sided scrimmages (sport depending). The goal is for the kids to enjoy as much play time as possible as they experiment with potentially new sports in a fun environment.All equipment provided for each sport will be provided weekly. Cheerleading Rochambeau Rebels: Grades K-8 - Half Year Competition Cheerleading
The Rochambeau Rebels are dedicated to providing an affordable competitive cheerleading program to area youth. This program provides a balanced and sustainable approach to youth cheerleading recognizing the needs of the athletes and their families. They are committed to excellence, creativity, and integrity that goes beyond the cheer mat. The Rochambeau Rebels season will run from August through March. The Rebels will practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Southbury Parks and Recreation. Each practice will be 1.5 hours long. The younger squad will practice from 5:30pm- 7:00pm, and the older squad practice time will be 7:00pm-8:30pm. Age group split depends on registered participants. There will be no practices on weekends and no mandatory parent volunteer hours. The Rebels will not do regular sideline cheering for any sport. Competitive cheer skill building will be the only focus.All registered athletes will need to buy their own cheerleading sneakers for competitions. Any cheer shoes can be used for practices. CT Sports Network offers a variety of sports programs for players to participate in. Sports Network instructors have the knowledge and skills to teach the right techniques and execution, as well as the rules of the game and the most effective strategies to play at your best. So no matter if your kid is starting right now or already has some experience, coaches will always meet them where needed. Join CT Sports Network this Winter for the Multi Sports Game-A-Thon. Centergy: Ages 18+ - Drop in Centergy: Single Class Grow longer and stronger with Centergy, an invigorating 60 minute mind-body workout. It incorporates yoga and Pilates fundamentals with athletic training and a focus on mobility and flexibility. Emotive music drives the experience as your breathe and sweat through this choreographed workout. Centergy is a great stand-alone workout for stretching and working on balance and strength, or exercisers might treat it as recovery from more physically demanding sports, such as running. Cheerleading Rochambeau Rebels: Grades K-8 - Half Year Competition Cheerleading
The Rochambeau Rebels are dedicated to providing an affordable competitive cheerleading program to area youth. This program provides a balanced and sustainable approach to youth cheerleading recognizing the needs of the athletes and their families. They are committed to excellence, creativity, and integrity that goes beyond the cheer mat. The Rochambeau Rebels season will run from August through March. The Rebels will practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Southbury Parks and Recreation. Each practice will be 1.5 hours long. The younger squad will practice from 5:30pm- 7:00pm, and the older squad practice time will be 7:00pm-8:30pm. Age group split depends on registered participants. There will be no practices on weekends and no mandatory parent volunteer hours. The Rebels will not do regular sideline cheering for any sport. Competitive cheer skill building will be the only focus.All registered athletes will need to buy their own cheerleading sneakers for competitions. Any cheer shoes can be used for practices. Parks & Rec Clubhouse Activities - Dungeons & Dragons The Parks & Rec Clubhouse provides a space to meet and make new friends through specialized activities for various ages. Participate in different & unique activities while our staff helps guide you through your adventures. And the best part is that we clean up the mess!Our activities range from seasonal activities, science/learning activities, sensory learning and other messy crafts & activities!Dungeons and Dragons Multi-Generational Adventures: Join Parks and Recreation Clubhouse for our Dungeons and Dragons Adventures!We will provide the space - you provide the adventure! Southbury Parks and Recreation will provide game supplies, tables, and chairs. Groups are responsible for running their own games. CT Sports Network offers a variety of sports programs for players to participate in. Cheerleading Rochambeau Rebels: Grades K-8 - Half Year Competition Cheerleading
The Rochambeau Rebels are dedicated to providing an affordable competitive cheerleading program to area youth. This program provides a balanced and sustainable approach to youth cheerleading recognizing the needs of the athletes and their families. They are committed to excellence, creativity, and integrity that goes beyond the cheer mat. The Rochambeau Rebels season will run from August through March. The Rebels will practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Southbury Parks and Recreation. Each practice will be 1.5 hours long. The younger squad will practice from 5:30pm- 7:00pm, and the older squad practice time will be 7:00pm-8:30pm. Age group split depends on registered participants. There will be no practices on weekends and no mandatory parent volunteer hours. The Rebels will not do regular sideline cheering for any sport. Competitive cheer skill building will be the only focus.All registered athletes will need to buy their own cheerleading sneakers for competitions. Any cheer shoes can be used for practices. CT Sports Network offers a variety of sports programs for players to participate in. Sports Network instructors have the knowledge and skills to teach the right techniques and execution, as well as the rules of the game and the most effective strategies to play at your best. So no matter if your kid is starting right now or already has some experience, coaches will always meet them where needed. Join CT Sports Network this Winter for the Multi Sports Game-A-Thon. Half Day Programs: Grades K-5 - Pomperaug Elementary Pet Biz 3/4 Join SPARK Business Academy at Parks and Recreation on select half days for Region 15 Elementary schools! Please register for the program according to your child's current school enrollment. Program runs from 1:00pm-4:00pm
Students from all Region 15 elementary schools are welcome to join us for an afternoon of enrichment and innovation! Transportation will be provided from PES, GES, and LMES to the Parks and Recreation building. Upon registration, parents will sign digitally giving permission for Parks and Rec staff to pick up at dismissal and walk or bus participants to our building. Special Thanks to our Senior Center for providing the white bus and driver!Students from Middlebury Elementary School are welcome to join, however parents must provide their own transportation to the Parks and Rec building.
The Half Day Adventure will run until 4:00pm - Please pack an afternoon snack and water bottle. Taekwon-Do: Ages 7+ - Taekwon-Do: Beginner Register by 1/19 TAEKWON-DOTaught by award-winning black belts, participants learn sparing, age-appropriate self-defense, safety awareness, patterns and much more through Taekwon-do, a Korean martial art.
