At the Grow Together Play Club, unstructured time proves to be a powerful engine for development. When kids play freely, they're building essential life skills. Mixed-age environments naturally encourage social growth, teaching kids cooperation, empathy, and leadership as older children mentor younger ones. Self-directed activities sharpen problem-solving and critical thinking while boosting creativity and imagination. Crucially, it develops the independence to make decisions and learn emotional regulation in a low-stress setting. Ultimately, "just playing" is how your children learn to be resilient, confident, and successful friends.

Messy Minds: Build It, Squish It, Create It!
Bring your creativity—and your favorite moldable materials - Play-Doh, kinetic sand, slime, modeling clay, or similar sensory materials to create, build, and imagine together. Small toys or figures may be brought to help create scenes, worlds, or themes, but they’re completely optional. Participants will have time to explore materials independently, collaborate with others, and experiment with combining textures and ideas. There are no instructions and no final product—just open-ended play that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and social connection!
February: 6th 5:30pm-7:00pm Games Galore!
Join your peers for fun, laughter, and friendly competition at Play Club: Games Galore! Each participant is asked to bring at least one game (board game, card game, etc.) to share with the group. Children should be familiar enough with their game to teach others how to play. Participants are also responsible for keeping track of all game pieces and helping with cleanup after the games. Come ready to play, learn, and make new friends!
Feb 20th Brick by Brick: LEGO!
Bring your LEGO® set or dive into our huge bucket of community bricks and build creatively alongside others. Participants can design independently or collaborate on shared builds, challenges, or themes using their imagination and problem-solving skills. There are no instructions and no “right” builds—just hands-on construction, creativity, and connection through play.
