Southbury Public Library is closed until further notice- but our programs continue!

Thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time as we recover from extreme damage caused by the flooding on August 18th & 19th. Information on the library’s reopening will be provided when it is available. In the meantime, our programs will be hosted in the Parks and Recreation building at 561 Main St South.

Join the Friends of the Southbury Library for a POP-UP sale:
CDs, DVDs, gardening books, “ a buck a book” books, games, puzzles, cook books, and boutique items!

Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Please bring cash or credit for this sale, PayPal also accepted. Bring your own bags or boxes to take home your treasures. 

Come visit us at our new temporary location: at the temporary location:  Heritage Hotel Golf, Spa & Conference Center, located at 522 Heritage Road, Southbury.

At this temporary location you will be able to place holds on, check out and return library books, DVDs, Museum Passes and other materials. There will also be curbside service by appointment and limited browsing available of new and select books for adults, teens and children. In addition to wireless internet, limited areas for reading and/or studying are also available. Library materials may also be returned to the book drop at our Poverty Road location. See the main library site for more information.
