Health through Multisport - Ignite Your Spark!

Be empowered through small group coaching to engage and experiment in multisport competition - Swim, Bike, Run! - and experience the transformative power of sport on the physical, mental, and social dimensions of health. Focused on beginners; participants receive coaching, support, and camaraderie in learning the multiple forms of multisport in order to reduce the barrier to engagement.

Education Program: group will meet in a classroom format to learn how to prepare for a tri-sport event 
8 weeks of 1 hour classroom sessions

Education & Group Training Program will have two elements: group will join with education program participants for their sessions. Additionally, group will complete a sprint triathlon training plan (participants can tailor/modify the plan to their individual need) and engage in swim, bike, and/or run group activities, including open swim access 
8 weeks of both 1 hour classroom sessions and 1 hour group coaching sessions


Classroom sessions will take place at the Parks and Recreation Building:
561 Main St South

Group training locations will vary within the Southbury/Woodbury/Middlebury/Oxford areas. Schedule will be created at the first classroom session. Days and times of group sessions will vary to those posted.

Participants will need to provide their own equipment for group training: goggles, bicycle, sneakers, etc. All are encouraged to join, multisport also includes relay style competition where a runner, a cyclist, and a swimmer partner up as a team! So even if you are initially only interested in one of the three, you are needed!
