Art in the Park: All Ages
Southbury Parks and Recreation (SPR) in partnership with the Southbury Arts & Culture Alliance (SACA) and Middlebury and Southbury Equity and Inclusion Council (MSEIC) is having its fourth annual collaborated special event: Art in the Park!
Overview of this Free Event
Join us for free arts & crafts projects and recreational activities. Learn a new technique while you create your own art or try your hand at a free craft project.
Participate in a free raffle drawing for fun prizes.
NEW: The first hundred attendees will receive a FREE fried dough by Vinci’s Concessions. Choose your toppings and decorate your snack artfully! Truck will only be serving fried dough, quantities are limited, no day-of food sales available
Location/Details
This event is free to attend and will be held on Saturday, April 25th 11am-1pm. Art in the Park will be held at Settlers Park 280 Crook Horn Road.

The Middlebury and Southbury Equity and Inclusion Council (MSEIC) will provide volunteers.
Annie Grilli - Children's musician will perform twice: 11:00am & 12:00pm
Turkey Tail Publishing will have bookmarks and coloring pages to take home as well as previews of a selection of their current books!
Southbury Parks and Recreation will offer free family Dance Parties led by our very own dancing instructor: Karen! You'll laugh! You'll move! You'll see your family shake it like never before! Dancing starts at 11:30am and 12:30pm. This is a free preview of our new program: Fit Fam Fun!
After you are all danced out, come contribute to our Community Poem, make one of our Sun Catcher collages, and decorate a free fried dough! Tickets for fried dough will be under the gazebo with our raffle table.
The Southbury Public Library will offer various crafts and a chance to try out blackout poetry.
Pomperaug Warriors Youth Cheer & Football will offer mini footballs to paint and cheer ducks and pins to decorate!
The Rochambeau Rebels will offer positively pins!
Sunnyfield Studio will offer Native American Talking sticks
Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT will offer watercolor butterflys.
The Food Bank is collecting food to provide to our community.

Raffle Prize Details
Raffle prizes: Paintings, craft kits, and surprises!!
All raffle drawings will take place approximately around 12pm. Winners must be present to receive their prize!
