The Southbury Community Garden fosters a healthy community by cultivating the joys of gardening, meeting fellow gardeners, and enjoying the fruits (and veggies!) of your labor. Produce may be grown for personal use or to be contributed to our local food pantry. The Southbury Community Garden is a member garden operated through the Southbury Department of Parks and Recreation. The members are required to abide by the Garden Regulations (regulations posted below and on invoice).

Meet and greet and workday. Come meet your fellow gardeners, prepare your plot, mulch your walkways, ask questions, and get set for a bountiful growing season. It is recommended that you plant your plot with tender annuals (tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, etc) after May 15.
Garden Workdays
Community workdays where our Head Gardener, Georgia, is available for questions and advice. If you do not have a personal plot, you are more than welcome to come to these work days and join in the greater community that the garden provides. *Dates subject to change, reminder emails will be sent; times are to be determined.
