Parents' Night Out (Grades K-9) • Register • View Cart •

Southbury Parks and Recreation's (SPR), Parents' Night Out Events offers parents/guardians to have an evening to themselves, while SPR offers an evening of activities, games, crafts, and dinner for children. These special events are for rising grades K-9.

Registrants will participate in a variety of structured activities and games such as, board games, giant hungry hungry hippo, relay races, and more! Participants will also have an opportunity to make specialty crafts to take home. Dinner, snacks, and beverages will be provided by Southbury Parks and Recreation from local restaurants.

Event on Friday, December 1, 2023: The holiday season doesn't have to be stressful, and SPR has you covered to get tasks done! Whether it's cleaning/decorating your home, getting shopping (and wrapping) done without little eyes and ears around, or just taking a breather to yourself for the holiday season- SPR is here to help! On Friday, December 1st SPR will have its Holiday Parents' Night Out from 5:00 pm-9:30 pm. 
Holiday Night- Registration ends by Thursday, November 16. 

Event on Friday, February 9, 2024: Celebrate Valentine's Day a little early. Parents can spend their evening with a special someone while Southbury Parks and Recreation will feed and entertain their children on Friday, February 9th from 5:00pm-9:30pm. 
Valentine's Night- Registration ends by Thursday, January 25. 

This special event will take place in the Southbury Parks and Recreation building in the Multipurpose Room

Please enter through the Parks & Recreation entrance only. Drop-off will take place between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM. Pick up no later than 9:30 PM.
The dinner order is planned to be placed by 5:30 pm, so please arrive on time!


By participating in this program, you understand that a late pick up requires staff to remain after their scheduled time and that for every 15 minutes of lateness families will be charged $15 per child for this care. Failure to pay may result in family members being unable to participate in future SPR activities.
