Parents' Night Out (Grades K-9) • Register • View Cart •

Southbury Parks and Recreation's (SPR), Parents' Night Out Events offers parents/guardians to have an evening to themselves, while SPR offers an evening of activities, games, crafts, and dinner for children. These special events are for rising grades K-9.

Registrants will participate in a variety of structured activities and games! Participants will also have an opportunity to make specialty crafts to take home. Dinner, snacks, and beverages will be provided by Southbury Parks and Recreation from local restaurants.

Kid-Friendly Spooky Night! - Friday, October 18 (3:00 - 9:00 pm)
Join us for a Halloween-themed night. Children can wear their Halloween costumes to this parent's night out. We will carve pumpkins, make spider web crafts, watch a Halloween movie & have fall-themed snacks. The night will end with a Monster Mash Glow Dance Party!
Drop-off will take place between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM. Pick up no later than 9:00 PM.

Holiday Parents' Day Out! - Saturday, December 14 (8:00 - 3:30 pm)
Parents can go shopping, prepare for the holidays, or enjoy a day alone, while Southbury Parks and Recreation will entertain their children with Holiday-themed crafts and activities. Lunch/food is not provided today (only during "night out" programs). Please pack a bagged lunch, refillable water bottle, and snack! 

Valentine's Day - Parents' Night Out! Friday, February 14 (4:00 - 8:30pm) 
Parents can celebrate Valentine's Day while Southbury Parks and Recreation will entertain their children with Valentine's Day-themed crafts and activities. 
Drop-off will take place between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Pick up no later than 8:30 PM.

March - Parents' Night Out! Friday, March 7 (4:00 - 8:30pm) 
Join us for another Parent's Night Out event! Children will have dinner, snacks, play games, and do crafts with our staff. 
Drop-off will take place between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Pick up no later than 8:30 PM.

This special event will take place in the Southbury Parks and Recreation building in the Multipurpose Room

Please enter through the Parks & Recreation entrance only (closets to the Pomperaug Elementary School Building). 
The dinner order is planned to be placed around 5:00pm.

Our staff need the "Camp Form" completed which includes important information such as authorized pick up lists, emergency and allergy information. If you attend our summer camp in 2024, this form is already completed. If you need to fill out the form, the form will pop up on your screen before checkout. 
It is up to the parent/guardian to check their child's "Camp Form" for accuracy and update it as needed. For steps on how to do this, click the 'How to edit your child's Camp Form' link below. 

By participating in this program, you understand that a late pick-up requires staff to remain after their scheduled time and that for every 15 minutes of lateness, families will be charged $15 per child for this care. Failure to pay may result in family members being unable to participate in future SPR activities.
