Flow to Fit Yoga is Southbury's leading yoga studio and yoga school! We offer group and private yoga, Pilates, and strength training. With emphasis on proper breathing, mindful movement, and alignment we can help you build strength, increase flexibility, improve cardiovascular health, lose weight, and manage stress.Class will be held at: Flow to Fit Yoga Bennett Square, Unit 44D,134 Main StreetSouthbury, CT 06488Class may also be taken via ZOOM.Participants should bring their water bottles.Class Descriptions:Core Level 1- Vinyasa flow style class with emphasis on building core strength. This class moves slowly through postures to build strength, increase flexibility, improve balance and reduce stress. Yoga experience helpful but not necessary.Core Level 2- Vinyasa flow style class with emphasis on building core strength. This class moves quickly through postures to build strength, increase flexibility, improve balance and reduce stress. Yoga experience helpful but not necessary.Yoga & Pilates Fusion- A class that combines the breathing and stretching of yoga with the core tightening and strengthening of Pilates. This class begins with some gentle yoga stretching and moves on to a powerful, full body workout using weights, balls, and bands. Class then cools down with more yoga and a final relaxation period.Yoga for All- Designed for those newer to yoga or those wanting a basic flow class. This class introduces foundational yoga postures, teaches you how to breath and helps you feel more comfortable in the yoga practice. Although this class moves at a slower pace than the other vinyasa classes, expect to be challenged both mentally and physically. Gentle Yoga & Meditation- A gentle slow-moving class that begins with breath work and stretching then moves slowly through basic postures and some balancing. The class ends with guided relaxation or meditation. Since this class moves slowly it is an excellent option for those recovering from injuries, suffering with chronic pain or other physical limitations.In order to serve you better, Southbury Parks and Recreation's programs are subject to change.
