Tennis is cancelled today May 15th, the session will be made up Wednesday, June 5th Southbury welcomes Tennis Director Greg Sansonetti and his adult staff- back by popular demand! Based in Fairfield County, Greg brings over 25 years' of tennis teaching experience. PeeWee and Junior Clinics offer a wide variety of teaching methods using USTA QuickStart tennis balls to develop forehand, backhand, volleys, and serves and incorporate those strokes into fun game situations. For more information, contact Greg at 203-414-9453 or visit www.fairfieldcountytennis.net.All classes are located at Ballantine Park611 Old Field RdSouthbury, CT 06488Adults & children should bring their own racquet to class. Racquets are also available for sale through instructors.PeeWee: Focus is on development of hand-eye coordination in fun game situationsBeginner/Advanced Beginner: Focus is on forehand, backhand, volley, and serves in game situations. Juniors continue to develop their strokes in game situationsLow Intermediate/Intermediate: Juniors can rally in game situationsAdult Beginner/Advanced Beginners: Focus is on forehands and backhands with dead ball drills to get the strokes down so players can transition to point play. Serves and volleys will also be practiced.Rain Dates will extend the session if instructors deem necessary.
