6:30 PM - 8:30 PM    Parks & Rec Clubhouse Activities - Dungeons & Dragons
The Parks & Rec Clubhouse provides a space to meet and make new friends through specialized activities for various ages. Participate in different & unique activities while our staff helps guide you through your adventures. And the best part is that we clean up the mess!Our activities range from seasonal activities, science/learning activities, sensory learning and other messy crafts & activities!The following summer 2025 program offerings require parent/guardian supervision!Dungeons and Dragons: We will provide the space - you provide the adventure! Southbury Parks and Recreation will provide game supplies, tables, and chairs. All Families/Groups will be responsible for running their own games - we will clean up the mess! If you are hoping to play a game with more participants, please invite your friends to sign up and join us! Program will run with any registration volume: you may be the only family at a particular night, staff will check you in but will not run programming, be prepared to run your own games. You are welcome to bring your own games as well! Think of this program as a play date where no one has to clean their house before the fun (or clean up after it!).Once you register, we will reach out with a link to a Discord Server that will put you in direct communication with the other adventurers. The group will decide weekly who is able to meet and what the plan is be it character development, a "one-shot" game, or other D&D related activity! Reach out to Sara in the main office with any questions: spanaccio@southbury-ct.gov  Inflatable water slide: Nothing says summer than an outdoor water slide! Dress in your bathing suit, bring a towel and a smiling face! Sensory Lab: start your morning relaxed through sensory play, with different toys, tools and textures! This lab is not only fun, but it is therapeutic!  Paint water gun: it's time to get MESSY! Experience a water gun fun like never before, with some washable paint added! Come dressed down, and even a white shirt, and bring a towel! Paint is washable, and a hose to rinse off will be on site.  Tie Dye Lab: bring a white shirt or article of clothing and we provide the dye! We will help you create a fold design, apply the color and you get to start the summer off with a beautiful tie dye shirt to wear! Color wars: get messy with color powder, while playing a competitive round robin game! whoever gets more powder on the opposing team advances to the next round!  In order to serve you better, Southbury Parks and Recreation's programs are subject to change.
