We look forward to seeing you at the 25th Annual Holiday Celebration. 


Date:  Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Location: Firehouse and the Town Hall Green @ 501 Main Street South, Southbury.

Parking: All patrons will park at Town Hall's lower parking lot, Parks and Recreation's parking lot, Rochambeau Middle School's parking lot and/or Pomperaug Elementary School's parking lot. There will be a designated drop-off area, monitored by employees. For details, please reference our map by clicking here

3:00pm to 4:00pm: Sensory Friendly activities for those who require accommodations will be held inside the Firehouse.  
4:00pm to 6:45pm: Activities inside the Firehouse will include: cookie decorating, games, crafts, and live music. 

(Last entry into the Fire House will be 6:45 pm. Patrons who are inside the Fire House will complete their activities before 7:00 pm). 
 

The outdoor program will include a community sing-along, and a parade of lights and Santa will arrive on the fire truck around 5:30 pm and will be available for photos, along with a fantastic winter scene and illuminated Dreidel. Staff and volunteers will be on-site to assist the lines. 


This is a free event.  

Activities taking place:
     -Enjoy live music with sing-along songs
     -Santa arriving on a fire truck
     -Lighting of holiday decorations
     -Decorated winter scenes for photo opportunities 
     -Free crafts and activities inside the Firehouse 
     -Free Hot Cocoa & sweets
     -Food Truck serving grilled cheese and soup (for purchase)

NOTE: More activities and crafts are being planned, check back soon for more details!

There may be a surprise visit from the Grinch- keep your eyes peeled!

Patrons who require sensory accommodations may arrive at 3:00 pm. Sensory friendly activities will take place inside the Fire House.
